Holden were awarded the contract for the full internal fit out of walls, ceiling, doors, wall protection systems and frost heave prevention systems.

As with every project that we undertake quality, H&S and program are our key focus. As the project was driven by the need to meet process equipment delivery dates a zonal approach was required. Holden proposed to the construction team that we focus on rapid installation of perimeter walls and ceilings. This allowed other trades more space and time before we returned to close off smaller areas, thereby facilitating a quicker overall program.

In addition Holden’s sister company Thermo developed a GRP hinged and sliding door finish to all hygiene control doors. This GRP high impact door was in keeping with the broader brief for the facility in being resistant to the wear and tear, normally associate with food production plants.

"Holden's commitment to aestethics and quality never clashed with their focus on schedule and flexibility during the build. Holden's team was always available and always willing."
