Data Centres

Expert communication focused on speed without ever compromising Health and Safety or Quality.

Data Centers.

We have 32 years of experience in white wall modular construction. When we combine this with our project management tools, we have a package delivery team who are specialists in fire rated walls, lay in grid ceilings, perforated walls, fire rated doors and all associated protections. This team is the bedrock of our success.

We understand that programme is everything. Therefore tight coordination with M&E installation is the key to a successful build. That is why we have trained and developed our teams to be expert communicators focused on speed without ever compromising Health and Safety quality.

Our fire rated compartmentalisation solutions are always developed with programme in mind. Tight timelines are further supported by our service penetration support teams, thus ensuring a timely and flexible 'on-the-ground' service.

We have a dedicated in-house construction team whose primary purpose is project delivery. Our commitment is that every contract will have the appropriate resources to ensure it can be delivered with minimal intervention from our client.

Our Approach

The demands of data centre construction are very unique and our design and project teams understand this environment intimately. The key to a successful project is hinged on the quality of the co-ordination. This starts with early design involvement where our team focus on solutions that can meet the end users specification while accelerating programme through minimising access post containment installation or facilitating early containment installation. Our design teams understanding of the building function and end user needs provides clarity in developing solutions to design and construction challenges.

Our design team support our customers in managing the extensive complications presented in fire compartmentalisation. These includes the treatment of apertures and penetrations, connection details, doors and personal access as well as the interface of different systems.

Strong relationships with our suppliers mean we oversee the delivery of the optimum specification for fire rated doors, structural grid ceilings, hot aisle containment (HAC), and fire rated composite panel solutions. This coupled with our design teams knowledge of each system allows Holden to offer a complete solution.
