Project Gemini | Data Centre
Client: Project Gemini
Holden Installations was recently awarded the contract to supply and install rockwool core composite panels and fire rated doors for the construction of 6 new data halls in Dublin. We are currently in the final stages of the project with most works nearly complete. The original scope of works included fire rated composite panels, HAC’s (hot aisle corridors), suspended ceilings and internal steel doors. As the project progressed, we were awarded further contracts of works which included composite panel protection and external steel doors. Our crews installed all works on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
As part of Holden’s role in delivering the supply and installation of the internal fit out of the Project Gemini we were key contributor to the selection and design of these systems. Not only taking the end users requirements into account Holden designed a solution that could be knitted into the construction sequence and facilitate the critical installation of data equipment. The design of the hot-aisle containment (HAC) Holden developed utilised the very structure intended for the data containment allowing both to be built quickly and simultaneously.
